personally I love my 2010 interior, it is exactally what i wanted in an interior my 72 and my 86 were super bare interior i love the simple clean look exactally what i want in a muscle car, usually i run with all the interior lights dimmed down so i can just barely read the gauges (been a pilot for years i like being able to see out side at night, lol) however on the new camaro i am loving the ABL so now i am learning to drive with the interior lights up, lol, although i think i am going to do the DIY full ABL mod soon

I have the 2012 and like the leather on the dash but if my dash was made of paper it wouldn't have mattered=). It's a Camaro and I'm pretty sure most of us bought them for whats under the hood..just my 02 cents

The 2012 definitely broke up the black void nicely.
IMO, coming from a German car, I felt that at least GM could have put some soft touch plastic in the interior. I can't imagine it would cost that much at all. |

yeah, they did have a lot of plastic, but they updated the 2012's to have a leather dash insert. looks really nice. i traded in my '11 for a '12 (but not because of that). the beige leather on my dash that matches my beige leather seats looks beautiful to me. pic in signature.

While I agree soft touch is better. Come on, Honestly, who touches their dash anyways except to clean it? I don't caress my dash at night and if a passenger comes in and starts knockin around on my dash to see what the material is they get punched in the junk.

I like the leather on the dash of the 2012's. As another poster said, you can mod the dash however you like.
Here a 2012 ss vert dash with 94 miles on it

I don't know where your car came from, but my dash is made of unobtanium.

I'm fine with my dash but I agree that the 2012 is nicer. I'm not a fan of the new steering wheel though. The thing that really annoyed me was standard bluetooth and power passenger seat on the 2012's. I definately need these. I want to trade my LT in for an SS. The 6 has no torque.

The new steering wheel is much more comfortable than my 2011. I like the style of the 2011 over the 2012.

I agree! The interior has way too much hard plastic, it scratches very easy, and shows scuff marks. if not for the great performance and and Bad A$$ looks, the camaro interior would not be a very good selling point. for a $43000, car Generous Motors should have put an upscale interior in the car. My wife has a 2011 Lacrosse CXL, that has a better looking interior than a CTS Caddy, for less money than the Camaro. just stating a fact, still love my 2SS/RS Vert.
