Definitely going for the cams...not sure about the valve job yet....probably....and i also have to change the rear since I'm an auto..i need the lsd as i cant touch the gas without the tire looking to spin. took her out this morning for some runs using ca rperformance app on my droid and traction is such an issue. Even with TC on it spins then boggs down then goes. I really have to peddle it to get a good jump.

I think it is in the 4-6 hour range but I'd don't remember it was almost 8 years ago that I had mine replaced under warranty on my srx.

So if we do cams, it would be a good idea to upgrade heads and valve springs, does anyone know how much all that will cost.

And will it hurt just to do cams and none of the other stuff?

I second this. I wonder if Vince would be able to update our tunes for cams. Do we absolutely need a tune for it?

Im pretty sure that you will need a tune with aftermarket cams.

Mods on v6 are: K&N cai with washer bottle delete, BBK longtube headers with High flow cats, Trifecta tune (on the way) and muffler delete

MACE should have more info such as dyno available within a month or so. The price was around 1100 for the set of 4 the last time I talk to steve@mace.

To be fair the price will probably pegged against greenbacks

I suppose we'll cross that when we get to it though

Yeah I am just waiting for a final product and to see what they will sound like. I'm going to start saving my money, because I will definatly get which ever company is cheaper, I'm just curious why comp cams isn't doing camshafts for this car.
