Don't let this great shifter go to the way side because of shotty install. This is a great shifter and you won't be sorry if you install this the wright way.

The Dust boot is usually the culprit with the Barton shifter. I have installed 6 of these not including 2 on my camaros, and you need to make sure the dust boot is correctly installed otherwise even the OEM will have a rattle to it. Get someone with small hand to et up underneath and make sure its on correctly.
On my coupe aI had the centering springs but on my vert I tried it without and I seem to like the ease of the motion without the springs better. Now you got me wondering what it would be like with them again maybe this afternoon ?
