What do you guys think about this hood?

I found this on ebay looks pretty good but no feedback on the actual hood itself. Seems pretty inexpensive to be good I messaged the seller for feedback from buyers but he still hasn't responded back.

A friend bought one of those exact hoods and had to pay over $1K to the body shop to fix a huge dip/warp in it. Beware!

So your friend didn't do the return/exchange that is listed on the ebay page and just kept the hood as-is on their own... that's on them, not the seller. They could have exchanged it.

Just remember it will cost you 500 to have it painted on both sides.

The ad says "Functional Ram Air hood" and there's no ram air about that hood. The seller no clue what they're talking about. That's a hood that's sold by VIS and Seibon IIRC.

think i would be kind of leary on this.seems like an awfully cheap price compared to most of the other hoods.it is great to get a good product at a reasonable price, but i would proceed with caution.hope it works out for you.

Don't buy it. Most of the time, when the price of the hood is to good to be true, it ACTUALLY is too good to be true. Buy the carbon fiber quality version that Seibon makes (it believe it's called the BBII). You'll be much happy in the end. Trust us.

Don't do it... go with a known quality hood... OUCH!!!! also its says:

Buyer must install at paint/Auto body shop; Buyer should understand that all the aftermarket Body kit/Hood may need heat treatment, minor shaving or adding of fiberglass to ensure perfect straight gaps between product and car, lamps, hood, grill, fender, door, trunk, etc.
