Here's My "Got ran off the road" story:

I was in my dad's 1991 GMC Vandura 2500 5.7V8 FI.. Fast truck at that time.. I was picking up pizza for the family and on the way home the pizza slid from the middle of the seat area towards the back.. while i was driving at around 45-50.. i decided to bend down and grab the pizza from sliding back any farther.. OBLIVIOUS to the fact that i was actually driving.. AMAZING RIGHT? Thats an 18 year old for u.. ANYWAY.. I decide to look up and i was going off the road into the ONLY mailbox on the street that was built with CInder blocks.. Needless to say i destroyed the passenger door and mirror and creased the back side panel.. I was in shock i stopped got out and shit my pants.. My dad almost killed me when i got home.. He asked how the hell did this happen.. In between throwing everything in the garage at me.. I said some guy in a really loud mustang came into my lane and i said to myself my best bet would be to avoid him and I hit the Mailbox.. LOLOL.. That's my RAN OFF THE ROAD STORY

So... I thought my car would only be gone for a week... But now it's indefinite

and by run off the road of course we mean lighting it up making a turn with TCS off got sideways forgot to turn into the slide and ended up facing the wrong way on the grass making nice arcing skid marks as you went 180 across the grass, i mean hypothetically, no one would ever do that in a camaro, cause it definitely was an old lady in a crown vic that crossed 4 lanes of traffic and you had to take defensive manuvers to avoid contact...

Your one lucky fellow. From the angle of your car and the direction of travel I think the cop was cutting you a HUGE break. the way I see it one of the following happened:

1) You failed to negotiate a turn somewhere outside the picture and ended up sideways over the curb
2) You got into it and lost it and went over the curn and around.

What it DOES NOT look like is someone ran you off the road. It's a Camaro. There are only a couple of cars fast enough to run us 'off the road'.

I'm not exactly sure. They said something on the frame or wheel is bent. But it can't be that bad since they were able to drive it around. My driving style has completely changed now though haha.

Dang sorry that happened to you! I had my airbags come out due to a similar circumstance, but I drove it around for a couple days before the dealer could finally schedule me in.

I think curbs should BE "curved" more to accomodate out of control Camaro's! Or Rookie drivers..LOL // Just kidding!
