Would you mind adding those two videos of the flex and rigid you had in another thread? A friend of mine was interested and I think the videos would help.

I put them in the first post anyway.

I also just confirmed that 3/16" [4.5mm] shrink tubing attaches an LED to the pipe just as well as the GM coupler, grip wise. You can rotate the tube to align it a lot easier than using the vinyl tubing mentioned in the other threads. The down side is that there is no strain relief for the LED leads.

That's a good idea. I've got some of that and it should keep it from. Being super bright at the ends. I was using the vinyl tubing and electrical taping the ends up.

Last-minute bump! Placing our bulk-order tomorrow evening!

Also, I have added an item to the first post...

Small, flex pipe for driver side for people that would just want that part.

35" rigid light pipe

IMO the rigid 35" light pipe is the best. It has weird marks on the back that keep the light from dimming as it gets further down.

Edit: The pictures are poop because I was using the facetime camera on my iphone. I'll hop in the backseat later and take them with the actual camera.
That seems a little bright. What do you guys think about painting the light pipe black with a strip tapped off so the light only comes out of a little slit in the paint? Also, Stieger, did you mod you interior trim pieces to fit the light pipes in the dash?

It's bright because the pipes are not behind the trim in all but the last of those photos.

I did not. However, when I get around to redoing it, I will be using this DIY: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42184

Also, there is no trim piece in place for any of the photos.

You shouldn't have to modify the pipes or the trim pieces. I didn't and it's fine. I just ordered this kit because the drivers side is too rigid and passenger side dims a bit in the center.
