False. The gm warranty will be gone, but my dealer offers his own cam and he will cover your warranty for ya. He does the same with superchargers too.

Just gotta find a dealer like him lol

If I cut out the IRS and put in a solid axle with a 4 link, then rip out the TR6060 and drop in a glide...and replace the LS3 with a 502...will my powertrain warranty be void too???

No. If you order and have a new OEM cam installed, it would not void your warrenty!

Then it isn't false? For a dealership to do that they are generally pulling GM money or they are very, VERY successful to self sustain those offers.

There is a dealer here in Orlando who does the same thing for FI motors ..IF! you let them install... the cost for them to do the install is damn near more than half the cost to replace the whole friggin engine. Maybe you have better luck... regardless, dealerships like these are one in every couple thousand.. literally.

My dealer gave me a written quote that they will hold my warranty if they install the parts I live in Melbourne fl... If you have it in writing they should stand by it

I have a cam and have had the trans replaced under warranty, have had a small oil leak covered by warranty... they have to prove what is damaged or problematic by what you done.... like in my case with the oil leak.... the cam install had nothing to do with the oil leak.. so they fixed it... now if the cam, springs, pushrods fail... then we may have a problem. Look up Magnasson Moss act... however its spelled.
