It is a positive thing no matter who you're looking at. toyota on top, if only by 33,000 units or whatever it was, meant they built and sold more cars.

What did them in was the same thing that hurt GM: Their approach! They wanted nothing more than to be world's #1, regardless of quality, design, etc...just as long as they could move enough cars to be higher than GM.

This time around, GM is focusing on quality, design, features, etc...they're building valuable cars that people want, rather than cheap cars that people will default to. It's paid off, and that's the difference.

You're not wrong...but at the same time, to say GM's procrastinating would be a little inaccurate. And they happen to be #1 in the world again, this year.
I am still upset about the Pontiac G8 GT, I have waited for Chevrolets replacement, so I feel GM has procrasinated.

About the Focus, I have read it is fun and overall very nice.

This year the Focus ST comes out and it looks to be a great little handler. So a Cruze SS should be a beast.

The truth is I love cars.

So we are both right.

Chevy also answered with a v6 that was just shy of what the Mustang GT was putting down for '10. AND with 29 mpg.

Pretty good answer in my book.

The next epic failure in the race for world's largest: Volkswagen. You heard it here folks.

Why should GM import VE Commodores for Chevrolet when they can wait a few years and import VF Commodores instead?

And the Focus is a decent car...too bad that pesky Cruze keeps beating it in sales.
