Nope, nothing else. They've got the bolt lengths sorted. Comes with gasket maker, and then there's the X-tra HP stickers!!

It is very handy to have a set of racheting, swivel head box wrenches (13mm)to get at the bolts in back.

This has yet to be determined, but it is generally accepted that the more you increase intake runner length, the greater the improvement in low RPM torque.
However, these engines also depend on maintaining the high velocity of their intake charge, and at some point too much length could cost power.

Check back in a year or,--- jump in there and get your feet wet! (Same advice my best friend gave me when I was considering marriage. My first, he was on his 3rd...)

Yes. Like all the other engine mods, it took the ECM a few miles to learn, but now there is a definite "kick" at 3grand and she continues to pull hard from there up.
You'll notice the revs climb faster, and when it comes on- you better have it pointed in a straight line!

When you guys install the insulator, reset the ECM via battery disconnect or via reloading a tune with full flash checked off and that will reset everything. Drive her easy for about 30-50 miles so the ECM can relearn the fuel trims and knock sensor properly. The same way you would do when you guys install vararam intake. After some easy miles and after a few key strokes, you should be able to really "feel" the insulator. Theres a very nice pick up down low

Yes! I think I may have done myself a favor when I recently re-tuned by accident!
Jmiller- probably wouldn't hurt to try this with your new OBX's...

Yup.. If you just flash a tune file, that will only rewrite what's been changed, but if you check the force full flash this will rewrite the entire ECM.

sweet, thanks. the reason i ask is because i'm thinking about picking up the 25mm insulator from the user that's selling it from canada, if it's still available. Just to clarify, if you buy from mace, you get new bolts?
