Competitive Mode
Does anyone know if the V6 has competitive mode or something similar? If it does I assume is it only on the manual? I guess the automatic has the paddle shifters but I was wondering if there is the same thing as the V8 where you disable stabillitrak?

Competitive mode is a V8 only function.

The thread explains it.
Traction control allows for a better launch and controls tire spin. stabilitrack prevents the car from going out of control sideways. ( most helpful in rain, snow, or aggressive driving). If in a V8. Competitive mode will allow for more lateral movement without stabilitrack being engaged.

So basically the SS cars have three settings ie, on/competitivemode/off, where the V6 cars have two, ie, on/off?

ss have 4, ls/lt have 3
the ones above. i really wish the V6 had a competitive mode, i like how it downshifts to aid braking and turning.
