I will try to address everyone here and if I miss someones Questions I apologize.

I have not seen the MACE dyno, but if it is close that is good. The nice thing as that with the different material, being one piece and just 9mm it should be an easier install, not need new bolts and work with the Vararam.

I did not drive it yet as the roads here are a bit sloppy. I am sure Joe will give his 2 cents once he gets it back.

I will have my first runs here tomorrow, but no plans for a ported intake on my end. I am sure it will help, but I have yet to see any results from those currently available that have proven results, not just theory.

Runs were done in 3rd gear. I tried to get a couple 4th gear runs, but they were quite choppy and actually a bunch lower dyno number wise.

I do not see why the engine cover will not fit, but will find out tomorrow.

Thanks Joe, I will call you tomorrow.

I have one here with your name on it TJ91

I updated my set of instructions that I made today with more pics and info. It may be a final, but need to go through it some more. To get the instructions you will need to get them from me online as it will be too much to print out each time. I attempted to post it here but it would not go. I can email them to folks again.

Thanks and let me know if there are more questions.

I don't know for sure 100%, however, I have a plan to make it work for me. There were other threads and post for the oil cap (there is an extender). The post in the front can be adjusted and I plan to do that.

If there is a will there is a way.

Hey Rt, isnt the only thing stopping the cover from fitting - the oil cap? Coulnt somone just enlarge the hole on the cover for the oil cap to sit lower?

Mike,

Thank you for your great work and support to the V6 Camaro community here on this forum!!! I am really excited about this product and forsee myself ordering it in the spring.

I am going to take her in for a Royal Purple fluid change in the rear diff and transmission when I hit 15k miles, then it's time to get the isolator (and maybe ported intake manifold?) and then finally get around to installing my Trifecta tune I picked up from BNR over the holidays. Good times ahead - thank you again for your support Mike!!!

Mike will know for sure about the motor cover fitting. Right now he says he doesn't see why it won't fit but he'll know for sure on tomorrow. I do happen to have a modified motor cover so I really hope there are no issues with that, if there is, my cousin builds race bikes and is a machinist at Eli Lilly and I'll have him work his magic on a fit solution if Mike doesn't make an adjustment before I pick it up. Also I think the rain may be moving in late tomorrow afternoon and if that's the case, I'll pick her up sometime during the day on tomorrow.

I am not sure that will work. I beleive the cover is going to be raised the 3/8" so can we just lower the cap that much. Not sure I like that idea. but might work to. Guess I should go look.........LOL

You need to get down to a 13.2xx so we can give the L99 owners a hard time since about 4 or 5 of their top 10 is 13.2xx lol. Make it happen!!

I just placed my order....

I just returned from looking at mine in the garage. There is a rubber piece inside the hole that my breather is sitting on. If we remove this it might sit down in the hole better. You will also have to raise the peg on the right. Not sure how much more room that peg has. I already had to raise mine with some washers because it never fit right from the factory.

We will get it to work. Especially since I still want to use my cover.
