I've got a rental impala while I wait.....boy am I spoiled with my SS...lol. I feel like I'm sitting on bench row seats instead of being hugged and the handling and throttle response are a totally different world lol. And oddly enough I've grown to like the sight lines of my Camaro now it just seems like there is waaaaayy to much window lmao

Sorry man, That sux. I agree with another poster though, damage from hitting the deer may have been worse. Hope it is all fixed up good as new very soon.

Being from South Florida, we do not have a deer problem with them jumping out in front of traffic. I am planning on driving up to Indy for CFIII in August. This deer committing suicide on the front of your car, does it happen mainly at night or just as much during the day? And are we talking rural roads or interstate highways?

Sorry to see things like this happen. I don't have any idea what was on your mind friend but what-ever it was, the damage to your ride should certainly over shadow it for a while. The thing is, you never can be to careful while clearing your mind..........you never can tell in what form the Good Lord sends the relief.

Just alot of different things...my Camaro is my Zen spot...I don't care how PO or stressed I might be but when i get in and fire her up a grin always slides across my face and driving her is my happy place so to speak lol.

Just got the estimate today. $9871.56. They are replacing everything that got damaged. Front facia, front quarter, new door and rocker, rear quarter, and rear bumper... oh and their paint guy said he's good but doesn't want to attempt to match half a car so she's getting a full paint job. I jokingly asked if his paint guy could paint in some blue rallys from bumper to bumper kinda like the pace car rallys and he started laughing and said no....damn....lol

They should make deer season longer than it is. It would help keep the deer population down.

Beats cleaning pieces of venison out of your seats or, worse, your teeth.

Deer in a windshield isn't pretty.
