I drove about 20 laps at Nurburgring during my 13 years living in Europe, the last being 4 laps in a full bolt on 2002 Corvette...the one in the photo in my signature. With that car, I only loosely timed one lap ran during tourist days with lots of traffic and that lap was over 10 minutes. When I came back to the states, I began playing Forza on the XBox and I guaranty I could run low 8 minute laps in that Corvette now that I know the track. When I watch the videos as in this one, I can tell you what corner comes up next...Forza is that good. Don't die before you run "the Ring"!!!
Incidentally, there's a YouTube video showing the last Chevy Cobalt SS running 8:20s at the ring...I think it still holds the record for economy coupes:

Funny he mentioned Forza I love that game but I am dying for them to release the ZL1 it isnt in the game yet

Pretty sure I will regret my whole life owning a 08 Corvette, living about an hour away from the Ring and never making it out there to at least drive around it once. :-(
