I can say that I had obx to begin with and switched to tsp. they truely are thicker and feel very sturdy. I will never go back from my tsp headers.

I also have TSP headers everything went in super smooth and fast.. took us 1.5hrs me and a buddy but that was also with a 30min break to stop the bleeding on my pinkie and throw some super glue on it lol. When those O2 sensors break torque be careful they go from super tight to free spinning in a heartbeat, don't wanna end up punching the old cat flange loosening the forward sensor like this guy lol.

I am very happy with my OBX headers..your write up was the main reason I decided to go with them..and the fact that I could not find anyone that "owned them" having anything bad to say @ them..and all the negative comments I have read come from non owners..go figure.

I have the pacesetter's and they fit like a glove but the only other header I would choose if I has to do it all over again is the stainless power! Not taking away from the tsp headers but I have installed both and the stainless power looked nicer as far as quality is concerned.

Good luck and try calling Paul at stainless works, he will cut you a deal and is very informative.

If the TSP headers are thicker they could weigh more like someone posted and thats a down side to them. Does anyone know the weight of the TSP's compared to other headers. I'm starting to think Stainless Power may be my best option. I've had a pretty good deal offered but I'll try contacting Stainless Works to see if they could do better.

Please continue to put your opinions and ideas out there as I haven't made a decision yet and appreciate everyones comments, they have been very helpful. Thanks.

The weight difference is going to be so minimal that shouldn't even begin to be something to worry about. The weight difference between the factory headers and mid-pipes compared to aftermarket headers and cats it pretty noticable. I doubt any aftermarket headers come close to the weight of the OEM ones.

I'm not saying choose one over the other...just saying don't let weight be any kind of a deciding factor.

BTW: we did a header install plus re-worked a cat-back last night and it took us right at 4 hours. It went pretty smooth and we had to take the steering shaft off. Putting it back on was kind of a PITA and took us probably 30-40 min between getting it off and putting it back on. So hopefully you can get them in without taking that off (we installed some ARH). Definately get a friend to lend a hand. The good thing is that it didn't seem like it took 4 hours. Seemed like only a couple hours. Time flies when you're having fun.

OBX

Well, me and a friend installed the OBX Long tubes on my car yesterday and it was simple. It took us about 2 hrs start to finish. My compressor is out so we never used any air tools either. That would have saved about 10-15 min alone. So far so good, no leaks or any other issues. Time will tell if I made a smart decision or not. I just couldn't pass up these for $379 shipped to my door.

Simple? You didn't have to remove anything? $379, is that with the off-road pipes? Wonder what it cost with high-flow cats. I just got my money so I'm sure I'll be buying some headers with cats today.

Speedinc.com has TSP LT's with catless connectors right now for $470 shipped with there discount code (facebook5)

Something else to consider may be the way the headers connect .....i think the tsp's have a slip fit and the obx's are flanged with spring tensioners

I personally cant say which is better, but i just wanted to throw that out there as it may matter to some people
