How long does it take to ship from Oshawa to a dealership? On average?

THERE IS NO ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM -

THERE IS ALWAYS A DELAY IN SHIPPING CARS ONCE WE START A NEW MODEL.

Now - I don't mean to belittle anyone - but please - we've been very forthright in all of our communications to the dealers and to those on this site- (and those messages have been posted on this site) that we would be most likely shipping cars in late February or early March.

it is not late February or early March yet.
Anyway we can get an idea of what our grey stripe looks like or is that top secret? Is it a matte or gloss finish, metallic or carbon fiber appearance? Kinda of a big deal for those that ordered this option on our $60k car.

I doubt that many who will be purchasing ZL1s are significantly concerned with how much the gas to operate it will cost.

I consider it a painful right of passage. These cars would be no fun if there weren't compromises to remind us what we're driving...

That in mind, it's been budgeted for...can't have something like gas prices ruin the fun.

The grey stripe, along with some good pics of all the colors looks like it is something we will be getting from C5 members and not GM. I can't even find a dealer with the ZL1 brochure(its selling on Ebay for 35 bucks) near me. GM has kept this car under pretty tight lock and key, till the very last minute. You and the other lucky SOBs are gonna have to share with us A LOT about this Legend!!!

Higher gas prices just means the miles won't pile on as fast as originally thought. That's not all bad.

Scott,
My thanks and comments - Your ZL1 advice and information has been consistent, reliable and clear at every stage of the ZL1 marketing and production process. You have shared information and responded positively to mindblowing speculation and outlandish acusations with well mannered constraint.
You and your Team have defined and established the new standard that is the modern Muscle Car. Congratulations to the Team and my wish is that you achieve even greater success in the future.
Jack Eggers
