Mach,
Were you able to fit the engine cover back on? Is there a solution for that?

I will see if I can work something out. I wasn't able to get to it because I left my cover at my house in MI. Right now I am near Chicago where I did my insulator install.

Good Lord Jay.... thats roughly 320lbs of TQ at the crank at least...and could be more considering we've always felt you were running on a low reading dyno.

Fan damn tastic news.

Also..I have to give a shout out to MACH on getting that Vararam to work with the 25mm MACE insulator....I would have never thought it would work!

I just can't believe how great things have been for the LLT community lately.

Thanks for all the kind words guys... I did some more experimenting with the gap in the front. What I ended up doing is loosening the red coupler clamps and pushing the front of the Vararam intake down.. Making the gap bigger. Then re-tightening the clamps. The intake is not inline with the throttle body 100% but now I can fit more then a key fob in the front.

What I found out....The butt dyno tells me the car pulls just as hard through 1st and 2nd but 3rd gear feels faster. So that means increasing the gap did help even though the intake and TB aren't exactly lined up. But this is my butt dyno and it may not be 100% accurate.

So overall, I am happy with my setup and I am glad the Vararam and Mace work well together.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.. Now its 20 outside and dark. Brrrrrrr

Have you thought about cutting a wedge on the throttle body end of the VR Horn? You may have to cut the red sleeve also.

I will be finding out today if the dyno tuning is a go for either tomorrow or wednesday so we can hopefully finish this up! To be honest, the new cam phase is just fine the way it is, the torque is just amazing! Push on the pedal and the car just GO! WOT and my nervousness start settling in and Remember, I said this same thing when I first was testing the insulator(without the nervousness), but if I had to compare this feel vs the insulator I would have to say this cam phase has more kick to it, but if we can get even more out of this then I think you guys might have to see my buddy shrek in the avatar turn red from green

I can't wait until I can see the review from some of you guys when you get your hands on this new tune! I'm positive that I will see lots of this I have no idea how vince is going to deal with the harassment from some of you moddicted psychotic peoples LOL, but I guess he has a plan. Maybe a update from the EZ flash itself???

and mach, thanks for actually even taking the chance to try the 25mm with vararam! I tried it but I'm sure I didn't try hard enough. I know what my next mod will be, again...LOL

steve.. happy is not even the word more like a surprise that does not go away lately it seems LOL.

poorman, the dyno won't be until next week. Called yesterday and talk to my dyno shop and they are bombarded right now to get me in before wednesday due to their own turbo fabrication and tuning backup. So we are shooting for next week. I can only get a window from tue-wed since I work over full time the rest of the days.

There is no need to cut because the angle isn't big enough. Only a couple degrees on the horn give you much more gap on the front of the Vararam.

So finally got into town last night..

Here is the horn against the throttle body.. The VR tilted down a few degrees...

Here is the gap.. It's so big my keys almost fell in. LOL!!!

Just to give you an idea how low the front of the intake sits now.. Look at the arrow. The intake housing is lower then the top of the radiator bracket....
