Slow and methodical................ about building a fast car... As I recall, you showed up late to the dance didn't you...

My build is almost done (crossing my fingers). Here's the short list.
LSX 427 Whipple Supercharger Painless Performance Meth Cold Fusion Nitrous (100 shot) 4L80 Trans Lingenfelter 9.5" Differential (3.73 Gears) Pedders Justice Package My last dyno made 725 to the wheels with 714 torque through the Whipple (no dope). I was pretty happy with that, especially through the 4L80. We just went to a smaller pulley (2.8), and are going to hook up the meth kit soon. The direct port system is also going in. Should make 1000 RWHP when we're done. Of course I'm not sure I can handle all that power, so it may just look pretty for car shows! My trouble is always trying to balance car shows and racing. I want my car to do both. |

Are you planning on making any of the LSx events this year? We are pushing for Bradenton but we have so much going on in-house that the shop car is the last one that can be put together, so we are hoping to make it... |

I'm a complete amateur when it comes to racing, and do a lot more car shows. I haven't done anything to reduce weight in the car, or myself. Thanks! Once we get done with the performance stuff I'm gonna work on the paint. That trip last year to the fest really left my paint looking bad. Before the new pulley we were around 13.5lbs. Not sure about now. |
