I'm hoping for something more 1LE.

I was a Z28 dreamer until I was seduced by ZL1. I am not fickle, I just have fallen head over heels completely in love with ZL1 and want to make sure Rustangs are kept in back.

I know we're golden on the road course, but I want GM to shave as many tenths as possible off the quarter. 11.8x was what I had been expecting - from the factory.

I don't ask for much, do I?

April-ish sounds reasonable. Thanks.

I think we'll see regular 11.9 - 12.0s once their in people's hands...I don't think now is the right time of year to really drive these cars to report numbers...

The Rustang can pull a 11.2 for all I care...it's doesn't have that same refinement and X-factor as the ZL1.

Dealer orders for most "carry-over" '13s starts mid-May (?), soooo...

"Z28? 1LE?"

Survey sez: "YES"...

I'm a-thinkin' 1LE is a done deal... ZEE? We can only wait/wish/hope...not necessarily in that order...

Here's a question....with some of the pointed questions we've been getting, and the "produceability" of the 1LE as they showed it...I think it's fair to assume that they're at least thinking about it...

Suppose they build it...And call it 1LE. ...Will we continue to ask for a Z28 in the 5th generation?

I'd ask the opposite, too....but I think we'd all forget about the 1LE name as soon as a Z28 broke cover...

SuperMod, please refer to post #44 and its first paragraph of the Disciples thread, here.

I actually can envision BOTH: 1LE = Base BOSS; BOSS LS wishes it would = Z28/LS7

Priced similarly to the "competition", = or > than them. 1LE will handily outsell Base BOSS, as a free-flow SS option; ZEE would slaughter (in all aspects) their winged wonder...and I personally believe this...STRONGLY!

The pricepoints will allow for purchasers to move up, stretch themselves into the next superior Camaro. This makes the $40K 1LE a move up from an SS and the Z28 a move up from the 1LE, and so on...
