Did you shut off all the nannies? You have to hold the button down for like 8 seconds.

Be careful!

Well some people think hooking up is better anyway!

I see you're in Texas. When it's warm, the tires are not going to spin as well as when the weather is cool.

Brake stand it for a little bit until it shifts into 2nd or 3rd... That will smoke them up for sure...

my L99 smoked em' the day I picked it up right out of the dealership lot and no brake stand needed, even from a roll it lit them right up and now with the Jannetty Street Package it will melt the tires right off.

maybe, maybe not... at stock HP they will probably both spin but sometimes it will only spin one tire. JRE makes a posi mod for the rear end to fix this.

When my car was stock it was not overly impressive with burn outs, especially when the pavement was warm. After some mild add ons and a good tune from JRE, it make a huge difference. Turning the torque management system off with the tune made a world of difference.

With that system turned off you get all the grunt of the 6.2l right off the start which really helps.

The tranny gear ratios are pretty low in the L99 but the rear end gears are very high. In my opinion the weak link of the L99 for street grunt, high speed, GREAT but not the best for street grunt.

I put a complete JRE differential in my car with some other suspension upgrades and the difference was again, night and day. Course, the 3.91 LPE gears and JRE posi upgrade may have had something to do with that!!!

Now, a killer burn out is easy, put the car in manual mode, shift into 2nd gear, turn off all the traction and stabilitack systems, a bit of light pressure on the brake, run the rpms up to around 1500 and then tap on the throttle to break things loose. There is a slight jump and then nothing but white smoke coming out from under the rear end, you can hold it at 5000 to 6000 rpms all day long if you wanted to.

Now with the Maggie installed......... Even with 315s on the rear end...... You could burn them down to rim if you wanted to!!!!

If you want more low end grunt, make sure your torque management system is turned off and consider some new gears. It will make a huge difference all around.
