A few more pics of the ONLY ABM "ZL1" available at this time....

The car was at ADM where Andy gave it a little more juice to go with its good looks...Couldn't ask for a better group of guys to work on the car. It's almost complete. Still have to fix the hockey stripes and a nice coat of wax before more pictures.

Only things left to do:

1) new wheels and fatter tires
2) ZL1 wheel liners and brake's air ducts
3) ZL1 under pan cover

Even though I have coilovers and it's lowered between 1.25 and 1.5inches, I still have about 6" between the bottom of the front splitter and the ground. The front end is little heavier and the cats are scraping my driveway a bit. Will have to put an .5 in piece of wood for it to climb over and clear the cats. There is no problem with the splitter.

I wonder if this modification will become as popular as the Z06-appearance mod for LT Corvettes? The popularity helped lead Chevy to making the Grand Sport Corvette look the way it does.

That's a good question. I hope not just because it would kinda take away from the ZL1 But it is a great mod

That would be a GREAT thing...Make a version with the body style, NA engine, Magnetic ride, rear end, less amenities...and call it what ever you want

BTW, I would recommend the guys aiming for >>160+mph runs to look at this front end just for the splitter alone. No aftermarket front splitters have been as good as this one...

If people are aiming for 160+ runs with this front end...I HIGHLY suggest they look into getting the ZL1 hood for stability...or some other hood with a heat/air extractor. Without it, all the air the splitter is catching will exit the engine bay from the bottom...most likely resulting in some added lift compared to an SS...The splitter's only so good alone....

Agreed! There are also wheel liners, brake air ducts, underpan cover.....

Got my foglights wired up!!!!

Thanks for the harness Ofer, you're the man. Right now I have the white power wire tapped into my headlight with a t-tap. There are 4 wires going to the headlight and I picked the headlight wire the first try. My goal is to tap into the halo power wire but I only had 1 t-tap and I'm not reusing a tap once I've used it for obvious reasons. I'll get some more taps this weekend and try the other wires to find the power wire to the halo. But I like it. Headlights come on... fogs come on automatically.

If I recall correctly there was a Black (ground), light brown (headlight power and what I'm tapped into now), a green and black and another brown. So is it the green and black or the other brown one? My bet is on the other brown one.
