2005

I sold this 2007 1LT C6 in 2009 with 15k on it for $30,000.

Just search. They are out there.

2005-2007 was LS2 (400hp)
2008+ was LS3 (425 hp or so)

Gotcha so the fully loaded c6 is a 4LT Z51? Thanks in advance for all this info.

Yea, but a 4LT is super rare, has the leather dash and stuff. Most are 2LT and 3LT. Few 1LTs or 4LTs.

It was a $4000 upgrade so if your price shopping, I'd avoid a car with it. It'd really nothing but a leather dash. It's nothing but added weight. But your lighter wallet will make up for it.

I personally loved my 1LT C6. All about performance. I had this 3LT C5 with the sport seats, electronic climate control and heads up... I did miss the seats in the C6 but nothing else really.

No, there was a Sport seat option in the C5 and the C6. The C5Z will have the standard seats. The sport seats were not offered in the Z06. The sport seats are just more adjustable and comfy. I suggest the sport seats. Let me see if I can show you the difference...

My standard seats in the 2007. Apparently only the C6Z gets the sports seats. Bummer, they were nice.

C6Z seats (more support) I thought the standard C6 seats sucked. I actually stuffed more padding in mine.

My "sport" seats in the C5. You could get the base or Sport seat in the C5 but the Z06 came with the standard seat. They really outdid themselves on the C6Z. Light years ahead of the C5Z.

I was wanting to upgrade to a brand new 2SS/RS but the 45k Sticker is huge, and so i found this nice looking vette for around 30k with only 18k miles, Tell me if this is a good deal or not for the buck.
First of all, you are not comparing apples to apples here.

Vehicle #1 is $28,000, it is 8 years old, and it has 19,000 miles on it. Vehicle #2 is $45,000, it is brand new, and it has 0 miles.

Sure the Vette has, and will continue to hold it's resale value better than the Camaro, but the Vette will also require repairs down the line that you will have to pay out of your own pocket. The Camaro, on the otherhand has a 5 year warranty.

The choice is entirely up to you, but I'd stick with the Camaro.

I don't doubt that price at all. Depending upon the options, the sticker price of a fully loaded 2012 2SS is well over $40,000.

Lol Ok my bad.

Vette is diff from the camaro yes, both cars are amazing, yes

1 is new , other is used, yes
But like i said i posted to get opinions, and this is only 1 04 vette out of thousands that are for sale, like the other guy told me just keep searching, a nice 06 - 09 vette might come down the line at under 36k with luck. So thanks on the opinion, I would not mind the SS, or the Vette, i just love lower and light cars, the camaro is wide and heavy , but has power too. Both cars are truly amazing, so i will keep searching around.
