That has got to be a misprint. $39,443 I would believe.

I agree. That's absurd and there's nothing special about that camaro that I can see. No engine mods I can see either.

OP, I would suggest you stick with a camaro. Any C6 corvette will be taking you up in the price range. However, a C5Z06 would be a pretty cool car, but I personally don't like the C5 body style as much as the C6. Which leads me back to the "C6 corvette will be taking you up in the price range" point I made earlier. I have no doubt you could hunt and find a deal on a C6. But at the same time you could probably find a 2010 fully loaded 2SS/RS camaro with similar, if not less, miles and in similar, if not better, condition. I say go for another camaro all the way! No looking back!

And it seems like you haven't looked for many used SS camaros. Take a look around! Lots of low mileage ones up for grabs. A guy in my local club is unfortunately getting rid of his. Black with red stripes, plenty of tasteful mods, and I think around 5k miles! I'm telling you, it's not just a debate between a new camaro SS and a corvette, check out some used camaros too!

P.S.: You never know when you'll need a backseat..... hahaha

Not a fan of buying many used SS knowing many people burn rubber and kill the engine with them So new would be an option, even when i bought my v6 the salesman told me not a good idea to buy used cause people do that, and here on C5 many DO haha.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS
Convertible
Deep Bordeaux
$75,000
$69,443

Whats up with that?
That sounds like a Niemen Marcus convertible. That price would be accurate although I would never spend that much for it. Onlt the Niemen Marcus convertibles came in Deep Bordeaux

Just thought I'd throw this out there about the C6.

Z51 included:
- Cross drilled larger rotors w/Z51 spec pads
- Z51 spec suspension
- Cooler for everything
- Specific transmission gearing 1-3 with different 5th on M6
- Specific rear end ratio
- Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires

The 2007 1LT Z51 I traded for my SS is on the lot for $34K with just over 10 on the clock.

The Neman Marcus camaro has a special color wheels interior and is a pretty limited number I believe. Correct me of I am wrong but I think that's about it.

I say try and find an SS that isnt $45k, you can easily find an SS that has a decent amount of options for under $40k

Becky Does, i'm sure, but as any dealer 40k+ is a lot to certain people, finding a good 2SS for around 34-35k Is almost impossible, thats fully loaded or close to it.

I wouldnt Buy the C5 Zo6 its older and dont believe what the dealer tells u that a adult owned of course a adult owned it once ur 18 ur an adult so any age from there to whatever can be considered adult. And with those mods that was listed ur gonna tell me it wasnt driven hard at all?? I see ur in texas but around here there are alot of 2ss that are 40k and under all u have to do is haggle with the dealer and be prepared to walk away if the numbers do work for u and if they want to sell a car they will call u back or not.

If I ever trade or sell my Camaro, I WILL get another Vette. Used Vettes are the bargain dream for performance minded Chevy guys. If I were looking for a used vette, I would search hard for a 2004 LeMans Commemorative Z06...carbon fibre hood and other items and a real collector Vette. That's my dream car.

Here's one I would buy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...item5648cb26b2
