For what you are wanting to do I would say install the Maggie. The motor can handle the boost and retain reliability with a good tune in it. These cars are heavy and the torque of a Maggie is going to make the car feel light and much more enjoyable. We have several supercharged camaros running around that are daily driven including my personal SS. I even have the kiddie seats in the back since I drop the little ones off at daycare everyday. Not bad to go run 11.0 and then load the kids up to go home home from track!!! Give us a call and we can help get you where you want to go.

I know of the Maggie and Elderbrock warranty and how you are limited to their tune and the no headers.
I have read of several cam upgrades with longtubes and a tune. Less hp than the SC but which build would be more reliable?
Where are the closest shops to Baton Rouge LA that are worth trusting you car with? I know my warranty will be gone but if built and tuned right that should not matter.
Definitely Supercharger first.
Done right Totally Reliable, I have many out there running since 2009-10-11

I'm with Ted on this one his tune on my maggie Camaro with stock internals since 09 no promblems and it had a ton of track time last year also had at least 2 1000 mile plus trips on it getting 25+ mpg on the highway and tons of power to boot!

Thanks for all the help... I am pretty much sold on the Maggie just concerned about their warranty since I have a cold air intake and shorties and I want to make sure I am getting the best deal before I spend that much money on a car that just cost me as much as it did. I understand you have to pay to play... Just want to make the right performance mods the first time and not learn from my mistakes...

If you make ANY changes to the motor other than adding the supercharger, your warranty is toast. You would have to get rid of the CAI and shorties for either E'Brock or Magnuson to provide any type of warranty. Also, you can't touch the supplied tune. If you're OK with ~450rwhp, you'll be fine. If you want more (and most do), you can kiss the drivetrain warranty bye bye. My LS3 has been running great with Maggie, blower cam, and bolt ons for almost three years now. Quarter mile and road racing too. No problems at all with the motor at 650rwhp.

If I had to do it over, I'd start by adding a blower friendly cam and bolt ons. When the extra 75ish hp gets old, add the Maggie. If you do that, be sure and pin the crank during the cam swap.

All depends on your financial situation. If having to replace the motor or tranny would cause you to be on foot and your children to go hungry........well, you get it I'm sure.

I would be happy to answer any of your questions concerning your build or warranty questions.

I would like the opportunity to quote you on this build, Email is best in my signature.

Alright I made my decision..After many hrs of research and phone conversations it came down to Shawn @ Lethal Racing so I drove over and met him. I have to say I was very impressed with Shawn, the shop, their reputation and how I was treated. Before I left I handed over the money and the Maggie and longtubes were on order. A week later I droped my car off for the work to begin and had the pleasure of seeing a couple they were finishing up. A vette with crazy HP #'s and a blk SS with the cam install...amazing sound in person..Now the week long wait begings...I will pick my baby up mayby friday...Probably won't be much sleep this week...

Congrats and good luck with the car. I'm wanting to do so much myself but I want to keep the warranty. That ZL1 is looking better and better! lol just don't have the funds for that.

Just started on it this morning. Car is apart. The headers are swapped out and we are about to install the heat exchanger. The supercharger will be in place soon. Should have it up and running tomorrow morning sometime. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work on your car. We really appreciate it.
