Yeah, I've been thinking of ditching the Blackwing and getting a Vararam. I'd lose the radiator shroud, but that's no biggie.

Didn't read all the posts so maybe someone already caught this, but I'd like to correct a piece of data you stated. On an inertia dyno, the torque reading is not RWT (rear wheel torque). The gains you measure are crank torque calculated by backing out RPMs from the RWHP measured by the spin up rate of the drum. Not a big deal and way too often stated incorrectly, just felt it should be corrected.

haha, I'd offer you my Airaid, and I could get the Vararam.... but I just got a shroud, too.
though, Hydro-dipped Vararam would be pretty

Did anyone look at your intake valves when you had the intake off? What did they look like? No buildup, some buildup ash grey and dry, some build up wet and black, etc....

Just to let everyone know. The GM strut bar has no issues fitting even with the engine cover on.

Just got back from the Sunshine State Rally and after conversing with Tracy at length about this and many of the other Rx Products I can tell you that I'm personally sold.

The way these folks are working so hard to get these parts to the people is just incredible too. Great people and tremendous passion for this community.

That's why it was a no-brainer for me to sign on with em....I really like this isolator and what it's showing in gains for these cars.

Seems like everybody I talked to this weekend either has one already or has one on order!

A testiment to what the people on the streets are saying and thinking!

Thanks Mike and Tracy for making this product happen!

Don't feel so bad Synergy. I have my intake sitting on the bench with all the tools set out just waiting for the delivery of my Isolator and TB. I don't know whats harder, looking at my car with the car cover on, or looking at it with pieces pulled off of it.

you guys that have had you intakes off before, how did you free that intake from the wire wrap zip tie that is attached to the drivers side of the intake. I just snapped mine off to get them separated. This was probably the most annoying part of the whole process.

If you just pull straight out from the intake it will not break and this step is included with my instructions.
