18's Rubbing LCA
I switched my Dads Rear wheels today to the 18 TSW's that He got from a member. The Spohn LCA is hitting the inner lip so I switched them back to the stock. Can that LCA be notched out or should the Stock LCA's be put back on? Thank You!
I was kind of thinking that would be a problem but Spohn said 18's work. Was one of them things that I over looked. My Dad came to see what I was doing and he hit me in the shoulder, lol. He is being cool bought it.

Wow, so grinding did not work. At first it did but then started rubbing on another part of the arm. Then the other side started rubbing. My Dad did the grinding thats what he did for years being a welder. But the rims would just hit a different spot of the lca. Must be b/c the independent suppression. So the stock LCA's have to go back on.

How U Doin?
|
I run 18x9.5" up front and 18x10.5 rear. Had to do some minor grinding up front but that was it. I'm lowered 1.25" and have BMR trailing arms and toe rods. I've had my wheels/tires for 6 months without issue.
Good luck! |
