Rubbing Noise Coming From Brake - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I noticed a rubbing noise coming from the front passenger brakes. It sounds like the brake is rubbing, but I cant exactly put my finger on if its normal noise or not. Its been difficult figuring out what circumstances it occurs in, but it seems like it only happens when the brakes are cold. Its not the usual squeal that happens when stopping, it just sounds like something is rubbing against the disc when I'm driving. Anyone else hear of this? Could it be a pebble got under the brake pad? Should I take it to the dealer get it checked out? It hasnt caused any noticeable problems, its just an annoying noise I'd like to go away

Getting a quick check at your dealer should be what reveals the culprit on this mystery! I hope it's a quick check up for you and while you're there maybe they can run a full check for full clean bill of health for your Camaro.
