Well... this is the closest TPW week to my week (3/5/12) but I felt like sharing the news that my car got delivered today!!!

It took 6 weeks and 1 day from order date to delivery date.

As tough as it was I did not take it home tonight :( The car has a heritage grill going on it tomorrow (if they have it). But the car was sitting in the service bay so hopefully that means they do. Service was closed by the time I got there so I won't know until tomorrow. I'm at peace knowing it is finally here and got to see it! I at least brought my option sheet home that was used at the factory... too cool!!

Pictures and story will come in a separate thread. I just wanted to share my delivery timeline with others!!

Congrats nameless. BDH thanks for the links. I got a $1000 Private offer coupon on the chevy website I'm gonna try and get them to redeem. IF they will go for it I'll get the gauges. If not, Ill go the route and buy it after. Hell I may buy it after anyways!!

Well I called GM Customer Service and they looked into my order. Even though camarotracking.com and GM's own order tracking website show 3400, The CSR found my order and it is built and ready to ship to Petersburg via rail!!! He had my VIN for me too. A week or so at most. I can't wait to get my first new car in 15 years.

Damn, lucky. Mine shipped out the 12th and still no word on when I will get my hands on mine.

Mine came in yesterday morning and we were able to get it the same day !

The dealership was terrific...they let us wash it the first time so I didn't have to worry about them scratching it.

The car is perfect in every way !
