Moose, I love your SS. How could you even consider a rice burner? I'm getting 18 MPG (about 50/50 hwy/city). My SS is almost stock though (Airaid air induction and GMPP performance exhaust).

They don't call the GTR Godzilla for nothing. That thing is a beast!! I would jump at the chance to get one just to see the scared look in the Lambo, Ferrari and Porsche owners eyes when you pull up next to them at a light.

At what $95,000 or $100,000 for the GT-R, wow but if you got it and want it, get it. If I had that kinda money I'd be getting the ZR1.

Why don't you get the tune fixed on your car if it is running so rich?

What do used GT-R's go for anyways?

You can find GTRs from 60,000 - 110,000.

The only problem with the tune is the fact I get crap for fuel economy. If I dont trade I'll fix the tune.

You can pick up a low mileage GT-R for $70K. And lol @ a GT-R being a rice burner. Haters gonna hate.

I was taking corners at 40 or 50 MPH that the Camaro would have lost control in at about 20 MPH. The acceleration is incredible. I'm about 550RWHP supercharged, but when I floor it in the GTR it SLAMS you back into the seat. I'd confidently put a $100 bill on the dash, floor it, and no one would be able to even touch it.

My Camaro gets 9MPG. The GTR gets 16. And to put that in perspective. i drive this everyday, and that makes my gas bill SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS PER MONTH.
The Camaro has a TON of memories and history and all my time and work, but the GTR is just this machine that moves fast
My Camaro is totally custom, so I have to park in the back of lots, i cant go through drivethroughs, I cant go near big curbs, I constantly worry about my paint..

I cant keep both. It's either the Camaro or the GTR. I just cant decide what to do. I dont know if I can even give up the Camaro, but I want some opinons. I'd daily drive whichever I chose
You will have to show me the turn that at 20 the camaro would lose control , and also 9 to 16 to the gallon , drive the gtr the way you drive the CAMARO , then tell me the MPG .

..I drove the GTR like I drove the Camaro
...

14.1 MPG. Higher than 9.

The GTR just STICKS to the ground. I dont think I could spin it if I tried. There's absolutely zero body roll

Then , go ahead if that's you want , just saying that always there are things that one overlooks when in love , just to find that soon after , but again if you don't do it you will never know .

Turning other cheek on a engineering masterpiece just because it's from another side of the world is so ridiculous LOL. GTR is a machine that is well respected from all walk of life that can compete and blow pass cars that's 5 times more expensive. If I had the money to throw down on a GTR you better believe I wouldn't even think twice! GTR is a universal trademark. A camaro is a piece of american history.

you do realize the camaro is made in Canada, right.

to the OP, if you can get a GTR and can handle the maintanence then I say go for it. How often do you get a chance to own a supercar.

I would let my ss go for a GTR in a heart beat, it's a badass ride. But seriously who tuned your car, I need to know who to avoid.

GTR is an amazing machine. Choose wisely. just don't forget you'll be giving up everything you put into your camaro.
