Just because you see them on this list that was done with a search doesn't mean they are not spoken for. This doesn't mean GM is filling unsold orders first. They are just filling the allocated orders as they get them, no matter how the dealer entered them into their system.

They are advertising them as for sale complete with price. That is where the list came from, not some sort of stock search.

Well I haven't called my dealer but I do know I was first on the list to order a zl1. They are very good friends with me and said they had 4 other guys wanting one. So I doubt they had 5 zl1s mine then 4 others. That dealership is the McCarthy chevy.

This is an explanation of what you're seeing ....
..online.

All vehicle's, when they are invoiced to the dealer,
will be entered into their accounting system....
whether they are sold or not sold.

At that point, they are inventory....

Dealers use "vendors".... Cars.com, Autotrader, ....etc
to help maintain the most current info for their web info...

These "vendors"' scan the dealers inventory,
to "see" the dealers inventory, and post the most current
available vehicles.

Depending on the criteria...
that dealers provide for the accounting scan....
....
sold orders... can show..
Systems aren't always perfect....

I would suggest that,
Some may actually be available..
Call and find out...

If #415,....
...... shows in my inventory....

.
.
FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!....

hey fellows alex was right --i signed papers today for # 435 at steve moore chevy and canceled my order that was stuck at 1102-- car s/b on train headed south as iam typing-what a find alex i owe you!!!!

Guys remember,Like Becky said.....Just because they show up on the websites doesn't mean they are available and "not" sold.
If I remember correctly my special ordered SS showed up on AutoTrader.com for sale the day after it arrived!
