Just got word that my car has been produced on is on the way to me. Many of you know the struggles I have went through, numerous emails to certain people that got my hand slapped more than once. Phone calls etc. just so we can get a fix for the cars we love so much.
I am not going anywhere though. The group is still going to be active on Facebook. I am still going to fight until each and everyone of you is satisfied with your convertible.
Pictures will be posted up once I finally get the "Cherry Bomb" in my driveway. I will also post up pics of what may have changed on the line as far a fixes go.

Thanks for all the help and support. I really appreciate each and everyone of you. Especially the Mods

Congrats, you are right its been a long road but it is worth it. If my new top is any indication of what is coming off the production line you won't be disappointed. I went to have mine re-inspected this week by a GM quality control person and all was within spec. So far after almost a month of use in warm and cooler weather the top is performing really well and is as quiet as when the original top was still on my car. The permagrin lives on !

That is good to hear Nutt. I am looking forward to it but a little sad as the one I have now is something that I looked forward to my whole life. The ordering, the waiting, picking it up and the permagrin. Only to have it sour on day 2 with the seat bottom that tore. Then all the other problems really left a bad taste in my mouth. I am going in skeptical with this one but everyone deserves a second chance.

hope the permagrin is permanent for you!!!
now with my 5th bow breaking I have permafrown just as when it was in winter storage.
funny thing is I had the top up and down several times this year already and then it just broke.

Keep us posted on your new ride when it arrives. Mine was built in Jan 2012, havent had an issue yet. Wish I knew who could check my VIN to see if I will be on the recall list or whatever they call it.
