Need a catback/intermediate pipes to fit my existing Magnaflow 16582

Looking to upgrade the rest of my exhaust system. I already have the Magnaflow 16582 axle back exhaust. I like the look of the tips and would prefer to keep the 16582 in place and replace the OEM system from the cats to the axle back section. I have already contacted Magnaflow and they will not sell the intermediate pipes from 16580 seperately. I have searched for a replacement 2.5" stainless system that will fit my needs, but have not had much luck.

At this point, it appears my best bet would be to purchase an entire 16580 system and sell the axle back portion from the 16580 system as a 16582 system here on the forum. Or simply pull my existing 16582 and start over, although this is not my first choice.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is it that you're looking to replace. You already have an axle-back that you want to keep because of the 5" tips. So, are you looking to add an x-pipe? What is your reasoning for making an upgrade?

If all you're looking to do is add an x-pipe then you can use either Magnaflow's Tru-X or resonated X. That'll be a much cheaper option than a full cat-back.

I am primarily looking to delete the L99 resonator as I will be installing longtubes soon. I thought about simply adding an X, but I'm afraid of having a hodgepodge looking exhaust on my low mile car. I guess the end result will depend on how good the guy welding it is. I can handle the catback install, but I have zero experience welding.
