Did it come with an applicator? If so, just wipe it around so a small amount of product is on the applicator, then lightly apply. Doesn't really matter in what direction you go, just make sure you cover everything. Let it set for maybe 15-30 minutes, then buff off with a good microfiber towel. Easy enough.

Mothers is a WOWO wax. It isnt a synthetic wax so there is no need to let it cure. Do not let it haze or you will have a rough time getting it off. WOWO is wax on wax off. Do one panel and remove it immediately. You should use a foam applicator or your bare hands. Don't use a microfiber applicator as nubas cause them to drag.

I've used Meguiars Ultimate wax for the last year with really good results. Clay treatment helps a lot to remove bug deposits, water spots and grit from the clear-coat. My car as black also, it makes it shine like Glass!!!!

I used mothers with a micro fiber applicator. Worked pretty good no problems at all.

Next time try a foam pad, or even your bare hands. It makes it even smoother. Microfiber applicators just increases the risk of marring the paint due to the nuba making the fibers drag.

Yep I sure do. I have had waxes that you have to apply it that way. The wax must be warmed up in order for it to spread. The only way to warm it up is by the friction of rubbing your hands together. It is quite easily actually and allows you to get a nice, even, thin coat.
