Hey, new to Camaro5. I bought my 2010 ABM 2SS/RS in December. Had to drive about an hour north of Philadelphia from Andrews AFB in Maryland to get it (3 hour drive one way). I could've gotten a better deal, under $30k, with a different color but I was set on getting the ABM. Drove it off the lot in December with 5000miles and it now has 8500miles. 1,000 of those miles are from driving to Ohio(my hometown) and surprising mom, dad, and friends with the new ride. Talk of the town.

In the 2.5 years that I have had my Car I still enjoy getting behind the wheel. I still love the color of my car .. At almost 50K in miles that is the only sad part about it. I still park a mile away from people and keep it looking its best. Some people don't understand why I love my car and really its just a very fun hobby and my passion. Not to mention all the very cool people I have meet since I got this car.

I had some scratches on my factory rims and well the rims I really wanted were not in this years budget. I looked around and found a very nice company that soda blasted them and powder coated them in a gun metal silver with Silver and blue metal flakes in the second coat and the a clear coat over that. The looks is amazing but its really hard to get a picture that shows how it shines. I hope to have the calipers powder coated next time.

I picked the Celtic tribal design because I love the history of Scotland and Ireland. It's totally different that is forsure and you will either love or hate it lol.. Pictures don't do it justice when you see it in person it looks all tied in together..

I haven't posted in a while. Still love my car. I keep it spotless, I, like many of you, have friends who don't understand, but to me this is more than just a car. I couldn't let it stay dirty,.... never.
For those looking for a polish, I use a product called "Wet paint". I use it only and do not wash my car with water. its just not necessary and I hate water spots! I do use Armoral for the inside and Meguires tire care for the rubber.
I haven't done any power mods, only exhaust. I do want a air cleaner/breather.
I spent a bunch on paint and tires wheels. After the addition of the live fire, or true fire as some call it I had the entire car clear coated, then cut and rubbed. The finish is just like a true show car. I can take perfectly clear pictures...... through....... my car's reflection. Its actually been a problem twice. Once for a reported and again for a shirt maker. They take pictures of your car and put it on a shirt for $22. We had to move my car as all they could see were other show cars in the reflection!

All your cars look great.

The pictures I posted are actually older photos. I just realized I haven't taken my car out for a photo shoot for a while. Everybody else has been taking them. The first is before the fire. The other two are before the cut n rub paint work.

Welcome! I picked mine up this past January and also waited to find an ABM. I can see why you're the talk of the town, nice lighting behind the grill!

Hey Mike...who did your live fire/real flame? I've been thinking about doing a couple 'pieces' on mine and would be willing to ship them out to someplace where I know I'd get a good job done. And yours looks fantastic!

Here's a shot of my ABM out at Milan Dragway. Had her out there for Test-n-Tune for the 1st time last week. What a blast!
Now that I have a baseline...time for some mods and then a recheck on performance improvements!

Hopefully next time I'll have someone with to take pics while launching; all my buddies with me this time were also racing.
