My cats were starting to melt. So I was at 13lbs. Removed them Nd I am now at 9.5 on the boost gauge where I should be

Do you guys feel it is necessary to have the car retuned and/or the tune checked once the cats are removed?

I'm at 6lbs now and has always been that way since install and still is.

So,if I noticed the boost increase, wouldn't that be a sign the cats are failing?

I'd think the cats would restrict air flow, anytime you allow more air to flow (in / out) it's a good thing.

The cats eventually will start to clog up. At first you won't notice it but then "one day"...

Its a good idea to get them removed and unfortunately make a little bit more power.

Yes. I saw 13 lbs on the dyno. I have removed my cats and I am now between 9 to 9.5 which is where I should be
