that is all it really should be....it actually was supposed to be $350 which was negotiated by the dealer where I bought the car but the delivering dealer claimed it was $450....i didn't want to argue over the $100 and have them mess with the car so I paid the extra $100.....damn dealers.

Don't buy them over msrp. This is a almost $60k Camaro. There are not as many people out there that can afford a car at that price point. The prices will come down quickly. Especially with the additions to the '13s.

there is a silver on in florida on ebay that I was high bidder on at msrp but somone has bid it up a couple hundred over.

I am hoping to hear on monday if I can apply my friends and family to my 2013 order and if I can I will just wait it out. If not I am going to continue to search for a 2012 on the ground.

I hope all these dealerships asking 10k over right now are dreaming and eventually the price will just drop. they are all just casting there line so to speak righ now wating for a fish to bite. IMO people would be crazy to pay that much for one unless you are just in love with vehicle depriciation. if they don't cap 2013 production you are just thowing that money away as value won't hold.

No need to pay the crazy prices dealers are asking. Wait til the hype is over even if it means to get a 2013 model.

Gotcha! I thought it might be Ray Huffines in Plano, TX. I went and looked at a black one they had that was a little over MSRP as well.

They tried to get me to buy it, but I refuse to pay over MSRP. I figured I have waited since Novemeber 2011 what's a few more months for a 13.

Congrats, on the car, $1500 over MSRP is not bad at all compared to all the other dealerships I have seen.

Also, pictures do not do these cars justice. Seeing and hearing the car in person is just awesome!

Dealers in TX are nuts. They think "everybody" is charging over MSRP and they are wrong. Unfortunately some are willing to do it which causes the practice to continue.

Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Florida (East of Tampa) only sells at MSRP. They have an Ashen Gray Automatic coming into the store. Ask for Matt Desaulniers.

Starling Chevrolet in Deland, Fl. sells for $50.00 over invoice if you want a 2013 model.

Found a allocation for 2012 model, don't know if it will be selected for production, but got it for 1% over Factory inventory @ 2,500 below MSRP
