I purchased some off eBay that came from China. They did not fit into my fog light housing I had to file away the opening to the housing, not to much filing.

They don't seem as bright as I wanted them to be. They are the correct color to match my DRLS and Headlamps.
I thought about the LEDs but went with a HID kit from xentec. No modification needed and are very bright. They match perfect to the 6000k headlight upgrade I did.

Looks good but why is the center of your hood higher in the middle where it meets the facia?

Yeah I should know better. I was willing to give it a try to see if anything has changed. NOPPPPEEE...

ZL45 ;) ... ZL1 Fascia via Ofer and ZL1 Replica Hood

This is a "draft" and not how my car normally looks - but wanted to post anyways. I wanted to do a PlastiDip experiment before my custom 45th stripes come to work with my new hood (this is why the stripe looks funky on the side). My car is a 45th and am trying to carry a "if GM used that hood on the 45th" style of stripes .... Long story.

It's coming along ...

I also have an SLP Maggie2300 under the hood and managed to cover the clearance.... But just made it ... My Dyno is about 667 at crank and 570 RWHP (+/-) a little ...

For many asking - the ZL1 hood is a replica - yes the eBay Monsterinc $499 one .... I got very good alignment - and am using 2 tone as you can see to preserve the 2 piece "effect". I plan to carbon wrap the section soon and just have not gotten to it yet... AND - if a reasonable insert price comes or a solid replica insert I would consider a total swap. (maybe)

That replica actually looks solid. I am starting to contemplate just buying that hood and paying to have the lines matched on the fascia. More pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting some and will post - been traveling sorry for the delay....

- Fit is VERY good (minus my Maggie is just snug)

- I made some drills to the hood hinges just to give me some more play to adjust (nothing major at all)

- It does meet to SS lines and I am ZL1 grill so off just a little here as u all know.

- No question I will likely get a ZL1 actual exposed (this was trial) and turned out better than I had ever assumed.....

SO! SO! I may be selling in short order at a REDUCED PRICE now that I think my ZL1 maggie concerns may be gone.... It is prepared and painted but is Carbon Flash Metallic (but a good base coat if you want to change color and save some $'s)....
