I have neighbors like that and I too have tried to make my exit as quiet as possible. Tried to start the car in the garage for the cold start then back out. You'll realize some people you just can't please because its not their way. Needless to say I have a cam now and I let her warm up exhaust facing their house every morning. ****'em

No way any stock Camaro 5th gen violates ANY noise ordinance. I even wonder if the ZL1 would... they all have great tone/note but actual db level is completely acceptable.

Even when I just had a catback, it was rather tame.... I would not even dignify him with a response. If he wants to talk about it, he can show up at my front door... my guess is he never will. I just hope he doesn't jack with your property...

I have the American Thunder Flowmasters on my V6 and if I start my car next to this piece of whatever, it sets his alarm off every time. My wife says that I get enjoyment form that. Well yeah!

They cant do anything about it, my neighbors put up with my HARLEY and my RS/2SS camaro with borla exhaust....and i leave every morning for work at 4:10 AM, they have gotten used to it...we are all good neighbors and they understand it. and one of my neighbors is a cop in the city i live in...if it was an issue then im sure he would have told me by now. tell them atleast its not some beater that billows smoke out the back. and id put up a camara to just protect myself and my car!

Granted, I concede we reside within a mobile home community and close proximity can be a bear, but sheesh... I suppose I'll have to put my car in neutral and push it unpowered into the street for about 600 yards before I hop in and start it.

LT transfer to beautiful FT Benning GA, and I will sell you a house that is available in a nice neighborhood convenient to the post that the neighbors are used to such activities and Camaro noises, matter of fact if you get lost in the mornings on the way to PT, just follow the traffic they will get you on post. It's crazy to see threads like this. Noise complaints are unheard of where I live. There are hundreds of jacked up diesel trucks louder than my car and my car is LOUD. It's just a way of life here I guess.
