Throw enough power at it and something will break; this goes for all cars not just the ZL1. How do you find the limits of a combo until you push it till it breaks; then you know what you can get away with before you need to upgrade whatever broke.

GM made a good car here but if your saying there's no weak parts in the drivetrain your just kidding your self.
Relax buddy. he didn't say it was indestructible. He said there aren't any weak links. It's all relative. That stock drivetrain holding up to the power shown on this vid is awesome. get over yourself.

Very awesome, and the fact that the stock drivetrain is holding that power is great! That is the one thing I really hate about my SS, they should have been stronger from the factory! Once you go 9", one piece drive shaft and better clutch to really make the SS solid it makes me think I should just wait till I can upgrade to a ZL1. I really wanted a 10 sec SS, but it seems the zl1 could be the way to go after a few years to pick up a nice used one. Great work guys, this car is the real deal for shure!

Regarding the CNC Cylinder heads, do they use the stock rocker arms and springs or are they also improved as part of the head combo?

I may have missed it, but was it the stock torque converter too? I imagine it was!

Great great run!

Sounds like you guys are leaving off idle, not getting into the stall at all. Any reason why, seems like there is allot left on the launch. I can't imagine having bone stock drive train in a 9 sec car, driving to the track and back home. That is awesome!

Enough TQ there to flash the converter better than trying to launch up against the stall.

Didnt read the whole thread but this was done on the blower only?!! 700rwhp gets you 142mph trap @ 4200lbs?!!! Man idk. I didnt think that small blower could move enough air to get a 4200lb in the 140's. Sure there wasnt a small shot in there too??

Whatever the case the car ran the number and congrats on one hell of a run!
