Is that mirror new for 2012? Looks nice and sleek and not in the way as much as the 2010 version.

In case you missed this thread, I believe this has a chance of being the same car. Just keep in mind it's not 100% what a production 1LE will look like.

How about "Panther" the first picture with the halo rings lit up look like panther eyes waiting to pounce. Beautiful car.

Well I like "Mr Bond", Mr James Bond. Using the characteristics Scott has outlined so far I suggest "Vito". The original godfather played by Marlo Brandon.

"Vito" the ultimate in bada##ery,
"Vito" the top of a long family line of heritage and tradition,
"Vito" mysterious, dark, intriguing,
"Vito" athletic, smooth, very well bred, looks good in a tuxedo, but don't tick him
off.....because he'll forever bury you in dust, so to speak.....

I apologize for the 'foggy' pictures -- taken with my Blackberry - and we must put a "GM Seal" over the lens when we enter any place where there may be proprietary property......such as Design Studio or the proving grounds....

...and a clear picture of the mirror in Al's CTF......

For those of you waiting for a Convertible ZL1 - I think you're going to be very happy...........

Now Scott, did you happen to get the idea from my film I left you of MOONRAKER? Of course Mr. Bond was the star! But Moonraker was his vehicle of choicer for transporting you to another world!

I still like MOONRAKER too.... the ultimate transport machine. ALA ZL1. U C.... with the top down you will be RAKING THE MOON! And, Mr Bond was never a car.... but he drove vehicles just like MOONRAKER.

I don't think it's the same car. The one in FBodfather's pic has a sunroof and the hood wrap, the one in the other thread does not have either.

actually, I DID! --and THAT'S what put me on to "James Bond" or -- "Mr. Bond" --

I'm from a town called "Mars" -- which is near "Moon Township" (.......NO, I'm not kidding - Pittsburgh International Airport is actually in Moon township!)

....so "Moonraker" would be paying homage to a rival town!
