The MPH vs ET package for both though is extremely good on the factory radial tires. That's where that A6s really shine!

Also, a 120 RWHP is quite impressive for the level of mods on the car.

I'm sure I'm in the minority (used to it), but I'd prefer shop and track sounds when watching a video of a car in the shop and at the track. You can keep the music.
120rwhp from pulley swap and CAI (tune of course)? Is this right? Has to be under $1k with labor.

Just a tad slower than a 2012 GT 500 with light mods, close to a 2013 stock. Good job.

The car ran 11.4, that's faster than the '13 stock gt500 and faster than a '12 with similar mods. Not bad for pulley/CAI/tune, especially given the 11.4 time was his first run and on stock rubber.

If thats correct, must be severely detuned from factory.
How much boost will the 2.55 pulley generate? Anybody know?

A cam would really jump it.....ZR1 cam ..... come on...$100.+springs

It you're gonna void the warranty might as well make spec it ZR1.

I wonder how the auto would like the ZR1 cam.

It's a 2.55" blower pulley + a 10% overdrive pulley.

If you take a ZL1 and intake, pulley, and tune they throw down similar power and hence run similar times.

if you buy the parts yourself and have the car tuned you are looking at ~1200-1500.

so for expample a ZL1 with these mods and GT500 with PP price out almost identical. the ford wins the milage wars for sure though.
Are we forgetting a stock 2013 GT500 and add a pulley and tune? your still losing boss. And a gt500 with a PP is still underwarranty, but doesn't add any power.

It was more directed to the price comment of the a zl1 with a pulley/cai/tune is cheaper then a gt500 with a pp.

Did you forget that the 2013 GT500 has 15lbs of boost already? Adding a pulley to a ZL1 is just leveling the playing field....however I'd bet a 2013 GT500 with 30 more hp still won't run with a ZR1, but that's neither here nor there. We could mention that doing those mods to the ZL1 is impressive considering it's weight disadvantage compared to the GT500.

Adding a pulley is not leveling the playing feild? I don't care how much boost a car comes with from the factory. That is irrelavent. Because if you want that argument you also have to put in the quality of engine parts (forged, etc), and size of engine and type of blower used. All doesn't count when making at statement that a pulley/cai/tune zl1 is better price then GT500 with app.

It's simply adding a modification to the ZL1 to make it faster. If you add a modification to the 2013 gt500 it will go faster.

Impressive time none the less, with the power levels given and weight.

My comment was more towards the pricing of the ZL1 with pulley/cai/tune and comparing it to a gt500 with PP on the pricing. When you can get a gt500 without PP and add your own pulley/cai/tune and run even faster.

Don't get me wrong the ZL1 is a great car and runs fast! Anyone that hates one is retarded!

It was a nice run! What was the 60 times?
If it was 11.4 why post up a 11.68?

I have seen two slips with the 10/11 gt500 running faster with just tires. 11.3 and 11.1 respectively.
