I am seriously screwed. 600 normally aspirated RWHP through a Tranzilla with custom gears and a LPE 9" is viciously wicked bad axx FAST. The PUSA Camaro was very fast with 568 ProCharger RWHP. Compared to the L/28 it would feel like the 6 cylinder. The L/28 is your wildest dreams fast because it is setup to use all 600 RWHP.

ZL1

L/28

ZL1 is Schweeeeeeeeettttttttttt. The L/28 is a direct injection sugar rush.

They were Pilot Sports. They are now ZL1 compound 305/35/20s all around.

There are three ways to look at the 1LE. It is a budget ZL1, it is a normally aspirated road course car ready to go or my personal favorite the best platform on the planet to build your own version of the Ultimate Camaro. Add a L/28 motor, full Pedders, the front six pots and you have this on wheels.

I spent my time optimizing the L/28 suspension. Cross Weight %age 49.9 / 50/.1 track ready with the driver and fuel. The front wheel L to R difference is 8 pounds. We were able to get these results withOUT moving any weight around in the car. There is nothing refined about the L/28 it is pure smash mouth in your face kick axx visceral ecstasy.

I REALLY like how you emphasize your points.

My Z06 is back to street configuration and my ZL1 will never see the track (so sad).

There are other qualified ladies, give them a chance. More people should take advantage of the wonderful Road Tracks available across the country.

Can't wait for you to build these cars. Bring more people into our wonderful sport.

Loyalty and business are rarely used in the same sentence these days. That is why I treasure the combination when it comes along.

There is an old saying in the car business. There is a axx for every seat and a seat from every axx. The L/28 is my idea of a daily driver. There are a few in this thread that would feel the same way. Most would think we are crazy. You have been around the forum and know there are countless 50K plus SS Camaro's running around and the number of 100K plus Camaros blows my mind. I was at a shop in Texas a few weeks ago surrounded by 5 or 6 1,000 plus RWHP Camaros, everyone of them into the six figures.

1LE option is hand down the BEST BUY available on a new car today. Add 40K to it you'll be driving a Camaro that walks by a Zl1 and possibly a ZR1. I drove a supercharged Z06 back to back with the L/28. There was no comparison. The SC Z06 was very fast. The L/28 was scary fast.

Loyalty and business...I hear you LOUD and clear...

L/28 as a DD, over an s/c Z06? Absolutely, Pete!

1LE as the "basis"? If what we True Believers seek doesn't soon reveal itself, an unreserved YES.

Janet, Best Wishes!

I am out to convert the True Believers. There is no way GM would let the L/28 out the door as a street car. It would have to be a GMPP track only option. While I was doin the setup work, I did not have access to a track. I used a couple of very large parking lots and some quiet but public stretches of road The L/28 is so fast. what I thought was 30 to 80 turned out to be well into triple digits Ramps or corners

I need to borrow a ZR1 and bench mark them

I was thinking more like a "upgraded" 1LE aka ZEE, n/a, beyond a mere LS3......with a sidetrip to Decatur/Brighton, for those who'd rather have an "L" of a ride instead of "Z" original...

Seems like now, more than ever, such a recipe is required. After all, "there's no replacement for displacement"...
