Yah but Gunny, with the 24"s you will be fighting traction more than anything. I can't hook up when ever I have the 22"s on my car.

is the 5.3L a destroked 427? a big bore motor from what i understand

The 5.3 is a 3.25 stroke and 4.00 bore, a 327. Correct me if I am wrong.

Possible. It only says LSX based. I wish the article had more info. Guess if someone is really gonna spend the $$$$ they will tell you.

Traction would be a problem but with practice it can be done. You just have to roll into the throttle. I managed 11.6 at Fontana on the 22's with street tires.

Well it helps when your rolling first then squeeze. Plus if the track puts down a lot of VHT that always helps. No VHT on the streets, would be nice. LOL
