The ET you run starts when you trip the beams, so if you wait 10 seconds after the light turns green before you go, it doesn't add 10 seconds to your ET. Reaction time is only a measure of how long it took you to react to the green light. Normally in drag racing, first to the finish line is the winner, so if you leave 0.1sec later than the other guy, you have to run at least 0.1sec faster than him to catch him and win. Leave too early and you get a redlight and you lose automatically, but that doesn't affect the ET you run either.

Stop being dumb. The sum of the ET and the RT are what you are qualifying from. The RT is how long it takes to trip the lights, the ET is how long it took you to go 1/4 of a mile after you tripped the lights. If you are just looking at the ET then you don't care about the RT.

You can't even spell "what", and you expect me to think you can tell an intelligent joke?

Sorry, I'm not convinced that you were kidding.

Well, it's good to see our senior members acting as professional as possible.

It's bad enough I have to Keep the Mustang and Camaro guys from fighting like kids in the sand box.

Now I get two see to of our more knowledgeable guys go at eachother.

I guess it just comes down to this, If you are so frustrated with this site that you can't help but continue arguing for the sake of arguing, then take a few days off. Got the www.mylittlepony.com/forums and relax a little.

Cus if you keep it up. You'll both be on a forced vacation.

Fair enough?
