anyone have any input on the lsx-ls9 heads..i know lpe is using the ls9 heads, are the lsx-ls9 new to market? they are not priced to bad for being 6 bolt heads..

You can run more timing with the LS9 heads.

just wanted to thank everyone who helped me with my head issues...either lsx-ls9 heads or the mast black label...funny, no one i talked to even knew the lsx-ls9 heads existed..???

built up ls7, twin disk clutch.. stock rear, stock trans... Haven't broken anything yet.. and don't really feel like swapping to a 9inch and just have problems with that... So ill probably play the replace it with more stock shit when it breaks game.

well since everyone will return, i am really getting puzzled over the lsx-ls9 ..there is no mention on gmpp as this part...scoggin dickey and a couple others claim they are lsx-ls9 6 bolt heads...here is quick info on the lsx -ls9.then below is the lsx-ls3, which only thing i see different is the titanium valves and exhaust valves...??????? what am i missing??? does the intake valves and exhaust valves justify 200.00 difference per head...is that the only diff between ls3 and ls9 head? . lsx-ls9 L92 style rectangle port design
Assembled with 2.165" titanium intake and 1.59" sodium-filled exhaust valves
15° valve angle
Minimum 4.00" bore
260cc "as-cast" intake ports, 80cc "as-cast"exhaust ports 70cc “as-cast” combustion chambers
Minimum 4.000" bore LSX-LS3 Cylinder Head
L92 style rectangle port design
Assembled with 2.165" hollow stem intake and 1.590" solid stem exhaust valves
15° valve angle
260cc “as-cast” intake ports, 80cc “as-cast” exhaust ports
70cc “as-cast” combustion chambers

The Valves are a good upgrade with a supercharged app. I thought the ls9's had the same valve size as the ls7 and used the same lash caps but I guess I was wrong. I would just buy the ls3's.

So your going to run 9's? I had a diff and some axles for sale you should have bought them you will need them.
