Several places but nothing confirmed. I guess we'll know for sure when they released to the public.

Base = 189mph Z06 = 198mph ZR1 = 205mph Actual gear or horsepower limits are: Base = 190 to 192 (depending on gear ratios) Z06 = 202mph ZR1 = 215mph And with that being said the ZR1 is more of a race for a base model C6 than it ever will be for a Z06. |

Exactly. They are lightweight composite and do a pretty good job. Not as good as a coil over set up but when you're trying to keep cost and pounds down the transverse leaf springs work very well.

That's a lie. Base vette is 0-60mph in 4.0 sec. ZL1 is 3.9 sec with auto and guys testing in mags have hit 3.8 sec in a manual so.

your gear calulations are way off too. Z06 would go 227 or something in 5th.

yeah they both started in 3rd to just even it out. honesly though you can lose grip in second at that speed if you just nail it but if you roll in you should start in second.

From what I read there is no speed limit in the ECM
here are the mechanical limits C6 LS3 206 5th gear C6 Z06 227 5th gear C6 Zr1 224 6th gear (.67) Chevy advertised them all drag limited 192 198 205 the LS2's were 186. Now that being said most have not take the cars that fast and the chevy ECM's do have a place for speed limiters. As for people saying a C6 is slow they are dreaming I ran times in my 08 in the quarter mile that rival anything the ZL1 has done to date but nothing faster than the 12.02 that that one guy posted in. the ZL1 ironically produces better road holding that my Z51 was advertised at.

I can tell you with extreme confidence that a stock tuned C6 Z06 will not get it's fuel shut off at 198+ .
There is no active speed limiter of any sorts in the C6 Z06. |
