My 2000 Mustang has a pretty bad blind spot so i'm not thinking the Camaro will be that much worse. The shoulders of the car are going to take some getting used to though.

Here's a question for those that have it already.
What's it like when you pull up to a drive-thru ATM? That must be a nightmare!

Sit up straight, adjust your mirrors CORRECTLY and it isn't an issue. If you do that stupid gangsta lean in this car, you won't see over the beltline, much less anything around you. You won't have good control of the car anyway. And with mirrors, I think the problem is so many people don't have them adjusted correctly. You shouldn't see the body of the car at all in the mirror. It is always there, always in the same place. Why do you need to see that. Position the mirror so that the inner-most edge is just about the show the farthest edge of the body and the vast majority of your blind spot will be fixed.

Go to a military surplus store and buy a periscope. Cut a hole in the roof and install. Problem solved.

It's not great, but it is better than you might expect. Can be done with minimal fuss.

Hello!

The Camaro has a different look from inside than any car I've drove. That I will say...but once you learn to adjust the mirrors and you learn the front of the car, it's not anything to worry about. I feel very confident with what is behind me, beside me as well. Going thru drive-thrus and ATM machines as well! I back into my parking spot everyday...no different than I use to do with my other car. Only thing I can think of is folks who have drove pick ups may find the view, front, rear and sides a bit small compared to what they are use too. But honestly, IMO, it's not anything to concern yourself over with unless you simply must have that same view as your truck! |

The only thing I'll need to worry about is the position of the rear-view mirror because that's what everyone's going to be in when I'm driving the SS!
