Thats because Ferrari owners can pay to get theirs fixed and not sweat it....

It's all what you like or don't like but in the end that is okay all that matters is how the owner of the car feels about it.
Nice.

I agree. If you can't do what you enjoy because you can't bear the thought of your car having a roof rack or some other nonsense, then you need to evaluate your priorities or consider buying another car next time around.

I don't see why people are so quick to condemn on this forum now. Maybe I am wrong but it seems as if this nonsense has progressively gotten worse. Anyone who deviates from locking their camaro in a garage and polishing it once a day to only take it out where you can view it at all times and still park crooked through two spots as far away from the door as you can are simply foolish. Those who mod them to accommodate their needs such as bikes are blasphemors. Those who say it's just a Camaro are pure evil and care nothing of their million dollar investment. Like honestly. Why are people so oblivious to the fact that this is merely a relatively inexpensive mass produced sports car, not even a high end one like a corvette? It isn't a supercar, it isn't a luxury car, those who think it is either are completely delusion. The above poster that said the Camaro is the poor mans exotic car is dead on.

That would be me.

This is NO disrespect to anyone at GM. They built a GREAT car. One i was compelled to buy.

Unfortunately, some people here treat it like it costs/is worth more 10x more. It's just not.

Wow, didn't realize the many things you CANNOT do or need approval to do to MY Camaro!LOL.
If you don't like rain, dirt, bike racks or bicycles on bike racks then don't look at the following picture!!
MY Camaro is driven 6-7 days a week, just turned 72k miles and has seen every weather condition just about. Would I take MY other Camaros out like that....NO. but I bought this one to do what I am doing to it. Didn't buy it as an investment, didn't buy it to store it, didn't buy it to sit at car shows, I respect all those people so please respect what I and others do with what we have.

Same here. My DD gets dirty and is driven. Shopping for a hitch/bike rack combo shortly, much like your setup.

There's a HUGE thread on the MTBR forums about a guy putting a rack on his Camaro. It ended up being a "douchbag mullet wearers drive camaros, PS you're all killing the earth"

It actually made me stop going to the MTBR forums. Yes, I like the environment. No, I'm not going to drive a prius.

Personally, I throw my Cannondale 29er on the back of my fiancee's grand prix =p we aren't too worried about scratches from the trunk rack on that one.

Not to far off there, my van has been hit by a falling tree and a wild turkey went right through the windshield, barely missed a deer. Wife got hit or hit a deer 3 times, last one totaled the car. Bought her a pickup and put a brushgaurd on front!

Great thread! I've just been pulling off the wheel(s) and loading her up, sometimes up to 3 bikes (but only 2 riders ). I like the idea of a hitch rack, sometimes I have to take 3-4 bikes.
