i haven't heard of any announcements what-so-ever of any event codes changing to anything other than 3800 with a VIN for about a week now.

i think event codes aren't being updated either.

day 15 at 3000.................

TPWs exist but are no longer being given. The reason is stated above: Expectations are set that are not met. Easiest way to remedy that: stop giving them out. Just because you don't have a tpw doesn't mean they're not being scheduled.

I've said this in other threads, but it bears repeating here: If you see no movement between the time it hits 3000 to when it hits 3800 (Produced) or 5000 (delivered), then your dealer is not checking the event history.

my dealer was told the workbenches aren't even being updated between 3000 and 3800 until the GMCS calls the dealer with the VIN.

he checks all his Camaro orders every morning.

I got a TPW of May 25th. Not sure how much to trust that but I did get it from my dealer last week and he confirmed it was assigned two weeks ago.

Who knows and I would be happy with a call from the dealer saying your car is here.....These codes are stessing me out

I still say he is looking at the first screen and not checking the history.

Do TPWs exist on all GM vehicles? If so, are TPWs available, for example, on a Cobalt order? If TPWs on all GM vehicles are suddenly not being provided, that may be indicative of "something" to come in the near term.

Yes they exist for ALL orders and only Camaro orders are being restricted. You can call and get a TPW for your Cobalt. No problem. Camaro buyers are driving everyone crazy, thats all.

I feel the need to point something out. It was suggested earlier that customer services gives the numbers to the dealers. That is absolutely false. CS knows approximately NOTHING about orders. They just put you on hold and call the dealer or DBC for updates. Calling CS is near useless and they surely do not give dealers any info that they cannot access through their own channels. No one calls a dealer to give them a VIN....for any vehicle....ever. The dealer would get it from GlobalConnect or from calling DBC.

Again, dealer didn't check Event Status History, just Current Event Status.....which we all know is wrong (or we should by now). If they did check the history, they didn't sort it by timestamp to get accurate info in the proper order. I've also previously stated that the target delivery date is wrong for every camaro order in Order Workbench. As is the Expiration of In Transit that is listed on the invoice. Target Delivery and E I/T being wrong are exactly the reason the TPWs are no longer given out.

I'm glad you found one and I'm glad you bought it. Have fun!

GM Canada Customer Service called me this week. Same lady that has had my file for 2 months. Does a great job.

She confirmed my TPW is " solid " for June 1 BUT she can no longer call me and any info I need must come from the dealer.

She was firm that a call to the dealer should be to the "GM not the salesperson".

Work bench updates in Canada include TPW on the print out.
