May I suggest your start with THE Book on the 5th Gen? It is the most comprehensive source of information for suspension, brakes and even thermal management.

Read that book. Then call the man for great suspension products. Pete you need to come to California with some new springs or coilovers. My lowering springs are making to much noise, really annoying

BMR trailing arms and subframe/differential bushings for drag racing. BMR adjustable swaybars for the handling. Once you get addicted, it never stops until you run out of parts to buy.

Are the rear bushings being so flimsy the cause for a lot of the drivetrain slack? Or is that going to be ever present with the m6?

Replace all the bushings with Pedders and you will be very happy. Tightens up the car and you will get a much better feel.

There is some 'slop' in the differential and sub-frame bushes.

The rear IRS bushes are not flimsy. I have yet to see on tear or fail. They are soft for NVH. One of the keys to the success of 6 cylinder sales is that the car is quiet. The conquest buyers that Chevrolet targeted identify quiet as quality. We ended up with quiet winning over control.

It's too bad GM doesn't offer a pedders track pack. I would of bought it.

Not to thread jack but :

Pete, what exactly do you need to successfully make the ZL1 Zway bar conversion kit work on a 2010 SS?

I want to pull the trigger, but I wanted to know exactly what I will be getting myself into.
