Looking better although the full painted bumper just seems like too much. IMHO the stripes are too narrow for the gap width between them. I've attached a version of your image which shows a suggestion of closing the gap between the stripes so the stripes are just a bit wider, the gap just a bit narrower. I did it partway so you could see how much of a change; about the width of the stripe.

And also, the yellow line on the bumper shows an idea of just blacking out the area above the yellow line, but leaving the bumper below the yellow line red. The blacked out area would include the insides of the tail light cutouts on the bumper.

I like the SS logo although they look a bit crooked to the left? As far as the red SS logo up on the right of the trunk lid, how about changing that for an RS logo if this is an SS/RS?

Tom,
Looks great!!!!! You could offer both the full black back or between the lights. Thought the Satin was ok but, the gloss blows that out of the water. Your absolutely correct about eliminating that small ss. How about posting a pic with with your CHROME Tom Henry Racing to the left next to the tail light.

Tom,
Just saw what DOC posted. I really like his ideas both with the stripes and the back. Would definitely like to see this back painted on my car when it comes in.

We widened the stripes on the next car, it is also orange, I will have photos soon. I am kind of liking the trunk panel painted black and nothing else, thats what we did on the next car, but we will look at your idea. If we do a satin finish against the gloss bumper the paint line isn't perfect, not sure i can live with that.

I think the black should be gloss. Satin just doesn't look right on this car for some reason. The old cars didn't have the quality finish these new ones do. Plus the old cars had body panels that were more segmented. This car is a one-piece sculpture they carved panels out of. The satin look breaks up the flow of the surface too much I think. But I'm a purist so maybe it's just me.

I'm liking the SS emblem on the back, with no black on the bumper like Doc said (but between the lights too). Maybe paint the SS red like the RS SS emblem. Mix in the old with the new...I'm doing this for sure. How hard is it going to be to put the old style SS emblem in the grill though? I saw one and it's cut for the bowtie.

I like it without any emblem if you can cover (or fill) the holes

That is freakin' AWESOME, I love the SS emblem. Try rigging it to the grille and then we can REALLY talk.
